Iran Nuclear Deal

TO: President Donald Trump FROM: Peter Giambanco DATE: 22 April 2018 RE: Iran Nuclear Deal Introduction With tensions ever so high in the Middle East, the Iran Nuclear Deal has lingered over as a certain way to fight back against the proliferation of nuclear weapons. Even with other factors within to deal with, the nonproliferation of nuclear weapons is a global good and must be ensured. Through this deal we can continue this process and ensure that another state does not have this devastating power in their control. Nuclear History Nuclear weapons have been used only on a limited basis and much is left unknown to what will happen, but it is true that the use of these weapons is devastating and causes an enormous catastrophe within the region. Only two nuclear weapons, or atomic bombs, have been used and both have been used by the United States near the end of World War II. The use of these weapons might have accomplished what they sought out to do, kill the

Memorandum Iran

TO: President Donald Trump FROM: Nathaniel Pappas Date: October 18, 2017 RE: Iran Nuclear Deal Memorandum on Iran Nuclear Deal Introduction It has been well documented that Iran has despised the United States since the fall of the Shaw. When the Ayatollahs came into power on the onset of their new government, they have had a strong opinion on the Jewish State of Israel and the United States. Several instances of Iranian terrorism have happened, with the deaths of hundreds of Americans. Iran has also backed terrorist attacks against Israel as well. Iran directed the terror group known as Hezbollah, to carry out the 1983 Beirut Barracks bombing which killed 300 people, over 200 of which were American. They are state sponsors of terrorism, to this day they have not stopped supporting terrorists and even captured and embarrassed US Navy men in 2014. Their leaders still call for the destruction of Israel and the civilians chant death to America. The Iran Nuclear deal that h

Memorandum on the Iran Nuclear Deal

Memorandum on the Iran Nuclear Deal To: President Donald Trump From: Leo Field Date: April 12, 2018 RE: Iran Nuclear Deal Introduction The nation of Iran has long been engulfed in turmoil. Since the late 1970s, Iranian-American relations have been strained to say the least. Tensions in Iran reached its peak when the American embassy in Tehran was attacked by a mob supporting the Iranian revolution taking fifty two Americans hostage for 444 days. The chant "Death to America" is often shouted by mobs and protests in Iran even to this day. Iran has openly supported terrorism and is the largest financier of terrorist operations around the world. Iran has also openly made threats towards Israel and supports attacks against the Jewish nation. Iran has long been attempting to develop nuclear capabilities. The Iran nuclear deal is a symbol of trust and cooperation between our two nations. Continued support for this agreement is advised for if it is abandoned, the Iranians ma

Iran Nuclear Deal

TO: President Donald Trump FROM: Grace Kane DATE: 26 March, 2018 RE: Iran Nuclear Deal Memorandum Iran Nuclear Deal Introduction Iran has a history of having anti-American rhetoric and threatening Israel, one of our closest allies. The current president of Iran, Hassan Rouhani has called for the destruction of Israel. Though President Rouhani has denounced the “death to America” chant, nevertheless, is a threat to one of our closest allies is a threat to us. Allowing the production of nuclear weapons not only puts Americans in possible danger, but Israel in even greater danger. As a country and as a promise made to allies, we need to stay signed on the Nuclear Deal Iran has already been committed to following to prevent a possible attack on our allies. Current Situation in the Iran Currently, Iran is only able to produce a very limited amount of uranium, with an enrichment of only about 3%. So far, Iran has held up and stayed committed to the deal. Though they h

Trade McTradeface

The US has always been a major trader in the world thanks to the capitalist beliefs and standing that most of the Presidents have had. Trade has always been a major factor in foreign policy decisions made through the years, and this is the case even today.                   The first inters for the US has to do with what they see valuable. If there is a country in the middle of no where that fifers nothing, but wants to buy a lot of materials, then the US would find these nations very valuable. They might seek to exploit weaker nations to achieve their goals. We see this a lot in under developed nations, but another way is creating good trade with Asian and European nations. Not only can these help the economy, but help with building close ties with those nations.          I do not believe the US is trying to create a greater world order, but to satisfy local and state interests. The US has always thought about satisfying the nations own goals, and the US has no need for a gre
